I also began to notice how much bio-mechanics played a role in how people ride and especially in women. We are shaped differently and have different strengths. From my love of mtn biking, love of having a community, love of getting better myself... I began to put some things together and analyze how we move on a bike. How we need to move on the bike. And what muscles we need to be stronger/more flexible/more reactive for us to feel more confident and controlled on the bike.
I have been putting together programs and working with mtn bikers individually to help them balance their bodies and in my physical therapy clinic, Blue Ridge BioMechanics. Now, I'm bringing that to the world. I have created online training programs and can use video chats to to 1:1 assessments to see what you need to work on to help your riding. If this intrigues you, check out my online programs and if you are a Rad Lady Mtn Biker, check out my FB group for the ladies only. That is how The Ride Life was born. |
